Privacy Policy

This privacy notice explains what happens to personal data when you visit gobeyondwhy.com. The site keeps data processing to a minimum: it uses no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking. It sets out the data that is necessarily processed to deliver the site, and how to exercise your rights under the GDPR.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you access the site, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores technical information that your browser transmits, in so-called server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring URL, and your browser and operating system.

This processing is necessary to display the website securely and reliably and is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider. As the provider may process data in the USA, transfers are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Contact and forms

If you contact us by email or through the contact form, the details you provide (your name, email address, and the content of your message) are processed solely to handle your enquiry. If you sign up to our newsletter, your email address is processed to send you occasional updates; you can unsubscribe at any time. Form submissions are captured through Netlify Forms and stored by our hosting provider on our behalf.

The legal basis is Article 6 (1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, your consent pursuant to Article 6 (1)(a) GDPR for the newsletter, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding pursuant to Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR. This data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods prevent deletion.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted on our own server and are loaded directly from it. No connection to Google Fonts or any other third-party font provider is established, and no data about you is transmitted to such providers when you visit this site.

Media and external links

Background video shown on the site is served directly from our hosting and does not embed a third-party player. The site also links out to third-party platforms such as LinkedIn and Spotify. These links only open when you click them. Once you leave this site, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. No content from these platforms is embedded here, so they receive no data from you unless you follow a link.
